CASH FOR APPLIANCE UPDATE!!!!
As I receive information I will post updates. As of now I know that the “rules and regs” have NOT been finalized by the state. Information should become available to retailers my the end of March! Florida is likely going to run rebates on a reservations system, meaning, you go online or call a dedicated number to RESERVE your rebate. Once you have a confirmation number you may then purchase appliances April 16 – April 25 ONLY. Rebates sent for fulfillment must be post marked by May 10th. Rebates will be paid in the form of prepaid American Express cards.

All qualified purchases must be Energy Star Qualified. The 6 catagories that will be paid the rebate are: Refrigerators, Freezers, Washing Machines, Dishwashers, Room AC units and GAS Tankless water heaters. The rebate will be 20% of retail paid before taxes with an additional $75 IF you certify that the old appliance has been recycled.

Sears is proud to offer 5 of the 6 product lines (sorry, so gas tankless waterheaters in our assortment currently.) We will keep you updated with information as we receive it!
